When I wake up and see rain, that is not really a problem because the sun is usually shining somewhere...Well, not this morning. Everywhere the skies were overcast, the rain drizzled becoming heavy at times and there was no clearing in sight. When we arrived at the parking lot, I even overheard a boy from a family headed out on a bike ride ask, "But what if it starts raining really hard?" and I thought, you know what...you will have hundreds of bike rides in the sun but this one in the rain, you will remember. So what do you do if it rains for your photo shoot? Go for it!
This couples ROCKED it. They are young , adventurous, and they made the most of the rain.
The rain lent a beautiful mysterious cast that added to the photos and made them even more interesting.
Can't you just feel the little hand on your shoulder?
John injured his shoulder awhile ago. When he saw this image, he said it was the first time he actually held John John on his shoulders. I am so glad we caught that moment.
John is the worship leader at my church and Erica sings when she is not working as a nurse. This one looks like it could be the cover of their first album.
I don't think you have to tell kids to play in the mud, they just do it naturally.
So when circumstances don't turn out like you expect, make the most out of it and you might just be surprised at the results.
This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118.24
